Chandula Abeywickrema, Chairman of Lanka Impact Investing Network (LIIN) and Co-Founder of Ath Pavura, was invited by the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) to speak on "Impact Investing for Entrepreneur Empowerment - the Asian Solution for Economic Revolution" at the seventh annual International Forum in Ottawa (19-20 January 2018). Bringing his extensive experience in commercial banking, financial inclusion, and impact investing, Chandula joined government delegates, civil society actors, private sector representatives, and international development experts to share insights, explore innovative solutions, and contribute to advancing global development and economic empowerment.
Chandula Abeywickrema, the Chairman of Lanka Impact Investing Network Ltd. (LIIN), the first impact investing private equity fund and network of Sri Lankan Impact Investors and the Co-Founder of Ath Pavura the first TV reality show for social entrepreneurs and impact investors was invited by World University Service of Canada (WUSC) an International Centre for Studies and Cooperation (CECI). 
Chandula a senior commercial banker with international expertise on the retail and development and banking and expert on financial inclusion advocacy in Asia, currently serves as the Chairman of the Banking With the Poor Network (BWTP – Singapore) , and as the advisor to Asian Bankers Association (ABA – Taipei) on Financial Inclusion. Chandula is invited by the organizers of the forum to speak on the Impact Investing for Entrepreneur Empowerment – the Asian Solution for Economic revolution.
The seventh annual International Forum will be held in Ottawa, from 19 to 20 January 2018. The International Forum will be hosted at the Westin Hotel in downtown Ottawa.
The International Forum is an exciting annual gathering where the best ideas and practices for global development are shared.
