Chandula Abeywickrema Joins Global Impact Investing Leaders
Chandula Abeywickrema, Founder and Chairman of GSG Impact Sri Lanka and the Lanka Impact Investing Network (LIIN), represented Sri Lanka at the GSG Impact Global Leadership Meeting held in Amsterdam from September 15-17, 2026. Hosted by the Netherlands Advisory Board on Impact Investing at the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West, the three-day event gathered impact investing leaders from over 50 countries to address capital mobilization, policy, and market transformation within the global impact economy. Leveraging his 40-year career in finance and social entrepreneurship, Abeywickrema met with GSG Impact Chair Sir Ronald Cohen and regional leaders to reinforce Sri Lanka’s position-a network member since becoming its 39th National Partner five years ago and to continue driving international impact capital toward local entrepreneurs solving social and environmental challenges.
